When our relocation company assigned Sean to us, we knew right away that we were very lucky! We were looking to move from out of state and Sean patiently took us on numerous virtual home tours. He is the best real estate agent we’ve worked with (and we’ve moved quite a lot over the years). Here is why:
- Sean is enjoyable to work with. He’s funny and makes the entire process (which can be daunting) easy and - dare I say - fun.
- Sean is detailed oriented. This means that he notices what grade/quality the kitchen cabinets may be or if the tile work in a new renovated bathroom was done right.
- Sean has a background in general contracting and remodeling. Don’t be surprised if he’s conducting a quick gut level inspection while you are touring a potential home. In one home, for example, he pointed out potential structural problems and spot checked potential electrical issues – it probably saved us from a bad investment.
- Sean is honest and quickly earned our trust. He gives feedback on our expectations and isn’t afraid to tell you that “this may not be the one.”
- Lastly, Sean has a positive attitude towards the entire process. We needed that to keep motivated and continue our search through a tough housing market.

Sean was our realtor when we were relocating across the country to buy and move to the Andover area of Massachusetts. Coming from out of state, our knowledge of the area was extremely limited, yet Sean was patient with us throughout the entire process as we learned about which towns seemed like a good fit for our family and budget. Every interaction, whether it was a showing, a meeting to talk about market updates, etc. was always friendly, professional, and informative. Sean’s extensive background in real estate and construction also was a great resource to have because there are so many unique houses in the New England region that span all ages, architecture, and builds. We had many discussions on whether a house was the right one, and if there was work needed to be done, what would be the most realistic projects, etc.
We also sold our house with Sean and it was an incredible experience. All of the details of getting the house ready, coordinating pictures, cleaning, appropriate decorations, little touch-ups was handled by Sean and it made selling a much less stressful experience than it could be. His marketing was able to generate a lot of foot traffic during open houses and private showings and led to the house being sold very quickly. Lastly, Sean is just very accessible. Sean Tynan was extremely helpful and went many extra miles to help us find our home. We weren't from the area, so he had to show us properties in quite a few areas until we found the one we wanted. He also drove to the commutes a couple of times so we would know what to expect. He was also very knowledgeable about construction so we could discuss renovation possibilities.
